Groundsman

The Groundsman is a 100lt sprayer designed to be towed behind a ride-on lawnmower to spray large areas of lawn & around gardens. It features a spray-bar for covering large areas quickly, together with a spray lance and a length of self-store hose for spot-treatment of weeds - The Groundsman is the complete package.

THE GROUNDSMAN COMES STANDARD WITH THE

FOLLOWING FEATURES:

Boom: 1.5m spray-bar complete with TeeJet non-drip nozzle bodies -meaning when you switch the pump off, the nozzles instantly stop & don't keep dripping. The nozzle bodies have QJ Quickfit caps for correct automatic alignment of spray nozzles. Fitted as standard are TeeJet AIXR Low Pressure Air Induction Nozzles which are a low drift nozzle.

Tank: UV stabilized 100lt polyethylene tank with a large sump for complete drainage. Tank features a drain valve directly out of the bottom of the tank, which is important because you can easily drain any excess spray into another container & flush the system with clean water after use.

Filter: External TeeJet Suction Filter with mesh screen to guard against pump damage & clogged/blocked valves. An important feature is the isolation tap which allows the filter to be cleaned when the tank still has liquid in it.

Pump: Flojet 12 volt diaphragm pump. The pump features a pressure cut-out switch for on-demand spraying when using the spray lance (motor only runs when you activate the trigger) & an internal bypass for constant pressure when using the boom.

Gun: Quality TeeJet spray lance with long extension to keep the spray away from you. Spray lance has a trigger lock & an adjustable nozzle to change the spray pattern from a wide cone to a straight jet. A length of self-store hose is included for spot spraying.

Wiring: 4mm twin core wiring loom complete with switchbox & alligator clips for easy connection to the mower battery.

Frame: Laser cut 3mm steel which is folded and welded for strenght. Includes tow-pin for easy attachment to ride-on mower.

Finish: Trailer & boom are primed with etch primer & finished with the highest quality two pack paint for excellent chemical resistance & a hard rich finish.
