XR TeeJet (Commonly known as 'Flat Fans')

Typical Applications:

The XR is the most widely used nozzle in today's Australian agriculture. The main reason for this is the simple fact that it contains a good percentage of fine droplets which ensures good coverage for some chemical applications. However the problem associated with this nozzle is drift potential and chemical loss for little gain. The XR is for the farmer who is prepared to lose a percentage of his chemical or risk drift rather than thinking about the mode of action of the chemical he is applying.

Generally speaking only a small number of broadacre chemical applications require fine droplets these include some chemicals in groups C, F, G and L. There will be applications that require fine droplets and the XR will do a great job, but the weather conditions when applying must be perfect.

Extended range nozzles are an excellent choice when applying contact style chemicals, fungicides and insecticides.

· Excellent spray distribution over a wide range of pressures 15-60 PSI (1-4 bar).

· Ideal for rigs equipped with sprayer controllers.

· Reduces drift at lower pressures, better coverage at high pressures.
