AI TeeJet Air Induction
AI TeeJet Air Induction Flat Spray Tips
Typical Applications:
The AI was one of the first high pressure air induction nozzles and was released about 7 years ago. The major draw back with this nozzle is the cost and the fact that it must be operated at high pressures, minimum of 3.5 bar. This pushes the limits of some of the centrifugal pumps on the market, and also places stress on sprayer components such as filters, valves and solenoids. The droplets produced by this nozzle range from coarse to extra coarse. It is a fantastic nozzle for soil incorporated spraying and also broadleaf systemic work. This nozzle is also available in a tip cap combination in polymer and ceramic which brings the price down over the standard stainless steel AI.
Features:
· Stainless steel insert produces a tapered edge flat spray pattern for uniform coverage in broadcast spraying.
· Polymer insert holder and pre-orifice.
· Larger droplets for less drift.
· Available in eight capacities with a recommended pressure rating of 30-116 PSI (2-8 bar).
· Depending on the chemical, produces large air-filled drops through the use of a Venturi air aspirator.
· Automatic spray alignment with 25598-*-NYR Quick TeeJet cap and gasket (does not fit your standard XR/flat fan or Turbo TeeJet caps).
· Also available in a nozzle caps and gasket combo known as AIC
