Halfway through the season and things are looking as good as they have for a long time, most growers in our area have plenty of subsoil moisture and we have our fingers crossed the rain continues through into spring when we have missed out in the last few years.
A lot is happening at Stoll's at the moment with S-2 and S-3 sprayers ranging in size from 1200lt through to 4500lt currently being manufactured and delivered. We have a very full order book and will really need to get cracking to get all the sprayers built that we want to for the fast approaching field day season. The Hayes Sprayers are going as strong as ever with a large number being delivered this season. After being the Hayes dealer for 5 years now we have over 40 machines out in the field and we recently traded in a few of our first Hayes Sprayers for clients who updated to larger machines. All the trade-ins sold virtually straight away and they have certainly held their value.
We have our first Sonic being delivered in July to Greg Allan of Sea Lake, Victoria. Greg is taking delivery of a massive 10,000lt, 45m trailing sprayer complete with Trimble EzGuide 500, EzBoom and EzSteer GPS set up. This size sprayer was recently featured in a 'land of the giants' article advertising that it is the largest sprayer in the world. At the start of the year we took on the Silvan Dealership, which includes the full range of Selecta Spray Equipment, their broadacre and horticulture sprayers along with their machinery range. We are really excited to come on board with Silvan who are constantly improving their range of products and have a vast range of gear from 3PL sprayers right through to mulchers, slashers, cultivators, planters etc. With some of the leading international brands they have something to suit everyones needs and budget. Our Open Day in Feb was a great success and our thanks must go out to the wonderful guys who came to do the liquid fert workshop (check out our liquid page for more details) our very supportive suppliers and of course to our loyal and wonderful clients who took the time out of their busy schedules to come along to either the workshop or the open day. As we head towards the middle of the year our thoughts turn to planning for the Henty Machinery Field Days in September. Our site will be featuring the Sonic Predator 7000L 36m self-propelled sprayer as well as the new Apache self propelled sprayer direct from the USA. On the Stoll's side we will be unveiling our new S-3 range of trailers along with a large range of our liquid injection systems.
