Stoll S-2 Series

The Stoll S-2 series sprayers are reliable, strong machines made specifically for small to medium sized cropping areas and graziers.

Designed and built with strength, simplicity and ease of use in mind the S-2 sprayers feature a very simple plumbing design & layout with quality TeeJet and Arag components fitted throughout. Available with tank sizes ranging from 1000lt to 2500lt tank sizes and the option of 10m, 12m, 15m and 18m booms, a sprayer from the S-2 range will give you the leading sprayer in its class.

With a long list of standard features the S-2 range assures you reliability, ease of use and are ready to spray when you are.

THE S-2 RANGE COMES STANDARD WITH THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:

TRAILER: Heavy duty chassis, walk-through platform covered with safety-perf, handrail & steps both sides. The pull has a 35mm ball end or the option of a heavy duty 50m ball coupling. A swingaway jockey wheel is standard.

AXLES/SUSPENSION:Choose from different axle & wheel combinations, including single or bogie axle wheels complete with Stoll's own smoothride suspension or big single tractor tyres.

PUMP: PTO driven Bertolini 3 piston diaphragm pumps are fitted as standard. Bertolini pumps are the best diaphragm pumps available. These smooth running diaphragm pumps eliminate the hammer or 'pulsing' that can be a problem with a lot of other diaphragm pumps. The smooth flow that they produce makes these pumps an ideal choice when using a rate controller as the flowmeter will give a nice, consistent reading - the liquid won't be 'pulsing' through the flowmeter which can give false readings. Pumps feature 316 stainless valves and polypropylene coated heads make them ideal for use with liquid fertilizers and aggressive chemicals. A hydraulically driven Hypro pump is available as an option.

TANK: Low profile, UV stabilised polyethylene tank with large sump for complete drainage & a smooth interior for easy decontamination. These tanks are low profile for even weight distribution and stability. 2" remote fast drain, 1 1/2" top mounted bottom fill with your choice of camlock, dedicated venturi pressure agitator as well as bypass agitation.

BOOM: Boom sizes available include 10m, 12m, 15m and 18m. These heavy duty booms features hydraulic height adjustment and manual fold as standard. The twin chain design ensures that no stress is transferred to the centre section or through the chassis. The lift ram has a large hydraulic accumulator for suspension. All booms feature a break back system to guard against accidental impacts. Individual hydraulic wing tilt with hydraulic accumulator suspension is also available as an option. All booms come complete with TeeJet non-drip nozzle bodies that are mounted behind the boom for complete protection.

PLUMBING:The simple plumbing layout makes operating the S-2 sprayers a breeze. Our plumbing panel features only two, clearly labeled taps to control the operation of the sprayer. The simple, easy to follow plumbing circuit makes flushing and decontaminating the sprayer a breeze.

NOZZLES: All our S-2 series sprayers come with TeeJet AI-XR air induction nozzles as standard - the ultimate nozzle for both drift control and coverage. We don't skimp and fit cheap, plastic flat fan nozzles as most other manufacturers do - after all, the nozzle is without doubt one of the most important components to achieve a great spray result.

CONTROLS: ARAG 463 control valves are fitted as standard, which are the highest quality available. These are coupled with TeeJet 12V 430 series electric ball valves - no cheap solenoids here! The TeeJet valves are ultra-reliable and feature a stainless steel ball, making them ideal if you may be considering using liquid fertilizer down the track. The electric valves are mounted on the boom giving neater installation & quicker on/off time of booms. It also drastically cuts down on hose lengths, making decontamination quicker and easier. Booms are plumbed in 3 sections as standard with more sections available on request. Electric control box allows you to remotely turn the 3 boom sections on and off individually or all at once with the master switch. The pressure can also be remotely increased or decreased from the switchbox.

FOAM MARKER: High quality 60lt double sided marking system is used. Electric switchbox is fitted in the cab near the operator to easily change from side to side. End of line foam generators ensure that the foam output is nice and consistent regardless of the volume in the tank.

FLUSH TANK: Large capacity 100lt flush tank plumbed to enable flushing of the pump & boom quickly and conveniently in the field. Hand wash taps are also fitted to both sides of the sprayer.

FILTRATION: Four stage filtration including basket filter, large capacity ARAG 1 1/2" suction filter, 1" self-cleaning pressure filter and nozzle filters - all as standard.

CHEMICAL FILL: Chemical probe fitted to provide easy, clean chemical transfer from the chemical drum to the tank - there is no need to climb onto the sprayer and pour the chemical in through the lid. A great safety feature which minimizes the risk of spilling and exposure to chemicals.

FINISH: Trailer & boom are completely sandblasted in preparation for primer, followed by being fully powdercoated. This gives the sprayer a hard, rich finish which gives the ultimate protection against harsh chemicals and is far superior to painting.

RATE CONTROL / GPS: Rate control is an option using the TeeJet 844e automatic rate controller. GPS guidance and control is also an option using the Trimble EZ-Guide 500 and EZ-boom system which also gives you the advantage of automatic boom switching. This is where individual sections turn themselves on and off automatically when you go into and out of previously applied areas.

All these features combine to ensure that the S-2 series of sprayers are the clear leaders in their class and will give you years of trouble free service.
